Overview: Providence welcomed one of the best big men in the class of 2024 over the weekend in Paul VI Catholic center Pat Ngongba. Coming in at #67 in 247’s composite rankings in the class of 2024, Ngongba’s stock is on the rise after a terrific showing in Nike EYBL’s opening round, shooting 83% from the field and finishing as one of the top rebounders at the event for Team Takeover.

Providence’s staff sees Ngongba as a gifted big man who is incredibly skilled and fundamental in the post, while also boasting a smooth shooting stroke. The expectation is that he will turn into a terrific college player after spending time in a college weight room.
