Book Providence Student-Athletes for NIL Opportunities Via The AdvantEdge Friar Marketplace
Providence fans, brands, sponsors and donors can now "browse, pitch, book and pay any Friar student-athlete for NIL activities in one compliant platform, built specifically for the athletes' needs"
On Friday, Providence College announced the launch of the AdvantEdge Friar Marketplace, the official Name, Image and Likeness marketplace for all Friar student-athletes.
In Friday’s press release, it was noted that Providence is launching the AdvantEdge Friar Marketplace in conjunction with Opendorse, a company PC first partnered with shortly after it was announced that student athletes could begin profiting off their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) in the summer of 2021.
“Friartown is a special place and we believe this marketplace will allow our passionate fans and donors, as well as the business community a direct path to support our student-athletes. As the NIL space continues to evolve, Providence College will strive to be at the forefront,” Providence Athletic Director Steve Napolillo said in the release.
Anyone interested in booking Providence student-athletes for NIL activities can do so via the AdvantEdge Friar Marketplace.
