By now you most likely know that Daquan Davis led his St. John’s team in scoring, and made a layup with timing running out to knock off St. Paul VI in the WCAC title game.
Paul VI was looking to be the first team to go undefeated in WCAC play since 2012, and came into the matchup regarded as one of the top five teams in the country. This was a Paul VI group featuring Maryland signee DeShawn Harris-Smith, as well as class of 2024 stars in Duke commit Darren Harris, UConn commit Isaiah Abraham, a top 30 big man in Patrick Ngongba, and several other Division 1 players.
