Ed Cooley meets with the media after beating Central Connecticut State
Justin Minaya got the start, and scored 14 points on 6-6 shooting from the field, in a 68-53 win over Central Connecticut State. The Friars ran out to a 22-4 lead to start the game and put it into cruise control from there.
Providence was paced by AJ Reeves’ 17 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists.
