George Mason vs. St. Louis in 5 Minutes: Josh Oduro Goes for 32 Points in a Double OT Loss

Josh Oduro scored a career high 32 points in a wild double overtime game against St. Louis on Feb. 2, 2022. His terrific output wasn’t enough as St. Louis’ star point guard Yuri Collins (35 points, 13 assists) scored on a buzzer-beating layup to give the Billikens a 92-90 win.

Oduro, who announced his transfer to Providence this spring, and fellow Mason-to-PC transfer Davonte Gaines were huge in this one. Gaines went for 12 points and 17 rebounds while playing 50 minutes. Oduro hit a late 3-pointer to tie the game in double overtime before Collins went the length of the floor for the winning score.

Mason trailed by as many as 13 in the second half, and by 11 with four minutes to go in regulation, before battling back to send the game to overtime.

George Mason entered this game with a 4-1 league record, while St. Louis was 5-2.
