Highlights: Devin Carter Leads Providence to a Blowout Victory at Butler
There wasn’t much Devin Carter didn’t do in the first half against Butler on Thursday night.
By the time both teams headed to the locker room Carter had 18 points, and his Friars led 46-18. Providence played its best half of the season in Indianapolis, limiting Butler to 6-24 shooting, holding a 12-0 advantage in points off of turnovers, enjoying a 23-11 edge on the glass, and outscoring the Bulldogs 18-6 in the paint.
Butler had an early 9-7 lead, but PC ripped off a 37-9 spurt to close out the half.
Carter was spectacular, scoring in every way possible and bringing his typical energy on the defensive end, as the Friars won 72-52.
