Highlights: Providence improves to 16-2 and 6-1 in the Big East by holding off Butler
Behind 18 points from Nate Watson and another perfect shooting night out of Ed Croswell (5-5), Providence took a 69-62 win over Butler on Sunday afternoon.
With the win, Providence improved to 6-1 in the Big East for the first time in program history.
For the second consecutive game the Friars had a balanced scoring attack, with six players scoring at least eight points. Al Durham (12) and Jared Bynum (10) joined Watson and Croswell in double figure scoring.
