Impressions After Watching Top New England Recruits and Providence Targets at EYBL
Over much of the past week I spent time watching a variety of top high school prospects, both locally and from outside of New England.
At this time a year ago, Quante Berry was the only Friar commitment in the fold, and his performance on the Under Armour Association circuit was tracked in detail here — with impressions of him after watching a number of his games and statistical breakdowns of every contest he participated in last summer.

While the Friars have one commitment in the class of 2023 at the same point this summer, Garwey Dual’s George Hill All Indy squad does not play on the Nike, Under Armour, or Adidas circuits, so his games weren’t available via stream this week.
So, while I felt as though I had a good grasp on Berry’s game, and was able to continue to watch him through his final season of high school ball, the same can’t be said of Dual (who I have only seen in one full game). Hopefully, during this year at (the now star-studded) Southern California Academy his games will be available online.
Fortunately, there were all sorts of prospects to track, and I chose to focus my viewing this week on the Nike Peach Jam, and the Adidas national championship.
The focus was heavily on a pair of local AAU programs: BABC from Nike and Mass Rivals representing Adidas. This week also included a pair of viewings of Providence 2023 target Mouhamed Dioubate from the PSA Cardinals, Team Strive for Greatness, which includes both Bronny James and PC recruit Brady Dunlap, Duke commit Caleb Foster, and Curtis Williams Jr., a small forward from Michigan, who I watched go up against another local program in Expressions Elite.
