NBA Summer League Schedules for David Duke and Alpha Diallo
A pair of Friars take to the court starting this weekend.
While David Duke announced on draft night that he would be suiting up for the Brooklyn Nets during summer league play, we got a bit of a surprise a few days later when it was reported that Alpha Diallo was opting out of his three year deal with Panathinaikos of the Greek League in exchange for a spot on the Phoenix Suns’ summer club.
Diallo is coming off of a solid season playing for Lavrio of the Greek League, averaging 12.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game and helping to lead them to the Greek League final for the first time in program history.
Eurohoops.net reported that Diallo was not expected to play for Panathinaikos during the 2021-22 season, as he was expected to be loaned to another club.
Diallo will make his debut for Phoenix on Sunday night. Below is when you can see both Diallo and Duke in action.
