2. Noah Locke is quickly becoming one of the all-time “Don’t let him get hot” shooters of the Ed Cooley era.
Locke was outstanding at Xavier on Wednesday, shooting 8-14 from three and 6-7 from beyond the arc, on his way to scoring a team-high 22 points in an 85-83 overtime loss.
This was the third game since Big East play started that Locke made at least five 3-pointers in a game, which led me to wonder just how many players had hit that many under Cooley.
