Corey Floyd Jr. joins the Friar Podcast to discuss his first season in black and white, impressions of Kim English, teammates who are standing out this offseason, his personal and team goals, and more
We were very excited to welcome redshirt sophomore guard Corey Floyd Jr. to the Friar Podcast. Floyd Jr. talked with us about his transition from UConn to Providence, finding his niche during Big East play last year, which teammates are standing out this offseason, his decision to remain at Providence, some of the future NBA players he teamed with on the Nike grassroots circuit, his personal goals for the upcoming season, and more.
He is expected to be a critical piece for the Friars next season as a strong defender, knockdown shooter (Floyd made 41% from 3 last year), and terrific athlete.
We hope you enjoy this conversation!
Also on Friar Basketball this week, subscribers can read a detailed report of 2024 commit Daquan Davis’ performance at the Sportradar Showdown in Las Vegas last weekend.
