Reminds me of how you used to recap games Georges Niang would have…just seems to have a knack for scoring the rock despite maybe not looking like the most jaw dropping athletic specimen.
Hoping as a guard that his distance shooting improves…there wasn’t a single clip of a jump shot beyond 15’ in that video. Going to need that to be in the toolbox at the next level when it becomes harder to get to the rim.
Wow, great recall. I loved Niang's game dating all the way back to when he as a role player alongside Gerard Coleman. Production often goes overlooked when scouting these kids and Mela is productive. I think the jumper will come around. He's skilled across the board.
